Sweet Red Roses

Hey fashion blog viewers,

It’s been two whole weeks since I have last blogged but it feels like much longer. I have been dealing with some medical issues and it’s really difficult to concentrate on creating my blog posts, so I skipped a week. I missed a bunch of events I really wanted to blog and tons of new items.

I decided to blog some older goodies that I still adore to the core. I fell in love with this dress back when Kellie first put it up for sale. I have since purchased all my favorite colors and if you haven’t noticed already, red is one of those. I just enjoy watching the layers of the dress move ever so slightly with my avatar. I was going to throw a little black shrug over the top but it took away from its lovely shape.

This is really how the dress looks in-world as I don’t do any post-processing besides cropping the picture and adding a border. I want others to see the beautiful quality and design that I encounter in the creations I wear in-world. I also have decided against shadows until I get a better computer because it really looks terrible. My computer is four years old and still kicking, which is surprising but I know that one day it will shut down on me forever.

I also added this lovely necklace and earrings from Alienbear that is a special for this month. I don’t really know how long it will be for sale but it was super inexpensive. Alienbear has been making beautiful jewelry for a long time but I have just recently fallen in love with her work.

I also stole this location idea from another blog post that someone did, although she did a better job showing it off. When I decided to pay a visit to The Pixel Bean Coffeehouse, I couldn’t teleport away. The colors of the scenery are so vibrant and alive that its place I will visit again.

Deepika Padukone’s ‘Dum Maro Dum’

Post ‘Munni’ and ‘Sheila’, item numbers have become the latest rage in Bollywood. Reports have it that Deepika Padukone’s item song in ‘Dum Maro Dum’ has more oomph and boldness than has been seen on the screen so far. The lyrics of the song, too, are quite bold. The track has several references to sex and drugs. Initially, Deepika was hesitant given the nature of the lyrics and the inherent innuendo. But after some convincing and seeing the creative visuals for the song she decided to go for it.

Priyanka & Aamir in Dhoom 3?

Last week it was confirmed that Aamir Khan would be playing the villain in Dhoom 3, now the question is which actress will star opposite him. Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra are the three names that have been popping up when the question arises. In an interesting turn more recently Slumdog Millionaire star Frieda Pinto has been put forward as a possibility for the role. Latest news suggests that it will in fact be Priyanka Chopra that steps into the shoes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, (Dhoom 2) and Esha Deol (Dhoom). Priyanka Chopra has portrayed action roles in the past, in Don and Drona, and has presented Khatron Ke Khiladi, which makes her the likely choice for the third installment. If Priyanka does get the role it will be the first time we see the actress paired opposite Aamir Khan.

Give me a Malt!!!

When I saw the notecard go out for the new releases at Malt a few days ago I made a quick trip there!  And wound up with several things to blog.  Khea Karas very kindly sent me a few items to show you and I had fun as usual mixing and matching.  Her new Lorelei Vest, shown in the first picture below,  is absolutely divine!!  And it comes in so many different colors that you'll have nearly an impossible time choosing just one.  At least I did ;)  Enjoy the posts!
