New @ DCNY!

Aside from the end of summer sale going on at DCNY right now, there are also two fantastic new releases instore. First is the very sweet Sara Jumpsuit, designed with a slightly open front giving a sexy and playful appeal, along with prim cuffs on the sleeves and flared pants to add that high quality finish. The Sara Jumpsuit is available in various attractive shades and is great to mix and match with other outfits.

The next new release at DCNY is the Payton II Dress, similar to the Payton Dress released earlier in the summer. Payton II is designed with cute ruffles around the chest and arms, and lots of soft and luxurious textured layers, which flow gracefully as you walk. Laish Dress

Pictured above is the very pretty Laish dress in pink from Lelutka, the minute I set eyes on this dress I just loved it. The main body of the skirt is a mixture of two fabulous textures, one side is made with a slightly transparent and very soft texture, combined with a uniquely patterned non transparent texture on the other side. Laish is available in a many gorgeous colors and can be styled in a variety of different ways. There have been so many beautiful new releases this summer but Laish is definately one of my favorites, it is elegant, cute and sexy all in one and is a pure delight to wear. So I just hit the sale yesterday. I went before work and was in and out in an hour with some amazing finds. It was definitely crowded but the racks were well organized by size and designer and there was a dressing room although it was stuff to score a mirror.

A Cynful Summer

This summer has brought some fantastic new releases from Cynful and featured here are my favorites from July and August. Lately I have been noticing all sorts of cool jewelry made out of rope. While rope on it's own would make a somewhat unexceptional piece, pair it with gold or silver, and interesting stones and viola some amazingly unique pieces.

Product Review: Havaianas

I first fell in love with Havaianas a few years ago when I was traveling in Brazil. I don't think I took them off for the entire trip. Havaianas Brazilian flip flops were originally made in 1962 (who knew they were so old!) and originally came in 8 colors. Nowdays there are upwards of 20 different styles and a ton of different colors. Some of my favorites shown here are the Havaianas Slim, Fun, Surf Girl, Fit, and Top Mix. I recently had the opportunity to try the Fit, which has an extra wrap around ankle strap and looks even more like a sandal. The matte gold is perfect for beach to dinner occasions like the Hamptons, where I will be wearing them this weekend. And you never have to worry about getting any blisters with Havaianas. Snoozer Looser Fall Preview

I just received the look book for the Snoozer Looser Fall / Winter line and had to share it with you guys. I have posted about New York designer Snoozer Looser in the past and I am really excited about her new collection. I love the mixing and matching of these funky prints and the styling is so great. The knee socks and brightly colored tights are perfect accents.

Product Review: Aveeno Positively Nourishing

I have recently had the opportunity to try the Positively Nourishing Hydrating body wash and Whipped Souffle by Aveeno. The products are infused with shea butter so that they are ultra nourishing and leave your skin soft and refreshed. I barely needed to use lotion after using the shower gel, unlike harsh soaps which can strip my skin of moisture. And after spending all week on my beach vacation to Cape Cod last week, these products were the perfect trick for restoring my skin.
